What is Dise to you?

The first thought that comes to mind is friendship. We are a tight-knit group, so for me, Dise is a combination of both work and socialising. I studied web development and joined the team right after finishing my studies. Dise is a fun place to be, and often I feel more at ease here than I do at home.

What’s most fun about your job?

I have the pleasure of working alongside friends whom I like a lot. The sense of community we've built is truly special, and it reflects in how we come together to work on projects. The fast-paced environment adds excitement, and the variety in assignments keeps things dynamic.

Dare to challenge - How do you live our core value?

My whole life outside of work focuses on athletics. Here, I constantly challenge myself. It's about daring to push yourself to the limit, not being afraid of getting tired from intervals or weight training. In my professional life, I used to be cautious and not take up much space. Now, I speak my mind and question our work in projects when needed. For me, daring to challenge means being willing to make mistakes to grow and improve.

What has been your biggest highlight since joining Dise?

This is my first workplace after completing my education. It's an amazing experience to have created something on my own and to see the solution come to life at the customer site. It's also a wonderful feeling to receive positive feedback on what one has done and to know that the work makes a difference for the customer.

What excites you most about the tech industry?

It's a constantly changing world where there's always something new to learn. There are also many different paths to reach the same outcome. I like the creativity involved in the work process and that there are many different specializations within the profession. Software includes phases of concept validation, design, coding, documentation, testing and so on. When you become a software developer, there are many career options available to you.
