To me, it's all about family, growth, and freedom. I've been working here my entire professional life, and it's a place that has shaped me, and where I hope I have made my own mark.

What is Dise to you?
To me, it's all about family, growth, and freedom. I've been working here my entire professional life, and it's a place that has shaped me, and where I hope I have made my own mark. Dise is a family-oriented company that encourages work with freedom and responsibility. It's hard to put into words, but it just feels great to be here. We are a close-knit group that has become friends. Dise is also a growing company that has gone from being local in Karlstad to being international.

What has been your biggest highlight since joining Dise?
Being part of successful recruitments where we have found the right people. When you find wonderful, fun, competent, and driven colleagues, everything else falls into place. For us, having the right personalities is important. It's always possible to learn new technical skills, but it's harder to change a personality. The personal aspect is important in creating a pleasant atmosphere in the office.
Best part of your working day?
The calm mornings where I can focus on programming tasks and enjoy a cup of coffee with my colleagues. Much in programming can be reused. However, I prefer to work proactively on future projects rather than adjusting solutions already made.

What motivates you in your work?
To be involved in a project and take on greater responsibility. I also enjoy being involved in many different phases of development work (concept, design, databases, technology selection, development, testing). It's an amazing feeling to see our solutions out in the real world and to have programmed code that is used years later.
What is your favourite innovation?
The sail, which was first invented in the Iron Age. Boats have always existed, but not sails. At that time, it was a great collective effort where everyone had to pitch in. It was the men who set sail, but without the contribution of the entire village, long journeys would have been impossible.
